Wooden Bread Board
Wooden Bread Board
Dimensions : H 71 x 45
Material : Wood
Origin : Turkey
This vintage breadboard was once used in the daily practice of breadmaking in Anatolian villages, carrying decades of history in its worn surfaces. Each board is unique, shaped by years of use, with traces of flour, softened edges, and the natural marks of age. Over time, some boards developed cracks, splits, or splinters, and many were carefully reinforced with copper, tin, or wooden splints to extend their life.
These signs of wear and repair are not flaws—they highlight the character and authenticity of the piece, making it a one-of-a-kind object that brings warmth and history to any kitchen or display.
